I’ve had my 1UP rack for a few months now, and it’s been great. I’ve been using it mostly for weekend rides and a couple of longer trips, including one drive on some beat-up back roads near where I usually stop for coffee before heading to the trail. The bikes barely move at all. No wobbling, no weird bouncing, nothing like my old rack that always made me check the rearview mirror every few minutes. It just feels a lot safer and less stressful driving with it.

They did end up fixing my rack issue, which I appreciate. That said, the whole situation was a bit frustrating, and I was expecting at least a quick apology for the inconvenience. Glad it’s handled now, but the experience could’ve been better.

Just a heads up for anyone looking at the 1Up rack: the expandable setup is really nice and the main reason I bought it. Adding another tray was straightforward, and once it’s attached, it feels super solid. But be warned, the extra parts and shipping can add up way faster than you might expect. I still think it’s a good system overall, but if you’re buying it because it seems like a budget-friendly modular option, definitely price everything out first. I just wish the add-ons were a little cheaper

I ordered from 1up-usa and honestly , the price felt fair for what you get . It’s not exactly cheap , but the quality makes it easier to feel okay about the cost . The shipping charge was a little annoying , but overall I’m still happy with it . I’d probably give it 4 stars for value .

Overall, it’s a solid rack and it does feel strong, not cheap or flimsy. That said, I had to put in more effort than I expected getting everything lined up, and some of the edges and little details feel a bit rough. It works fine once it’s together, but for the price I really expected a cleaner finish and an easier experience.

Got my rack from 1up, the finish is really, really nice. I wasn’t expecting it to feel this solid, but the coating is smooth, tough, and just feels well done. No rough edges, no cheap-looking spots, nothing like that. I’ve taken it out on a few trips already and it still looks basically brand new. You can tell they care about the little details. Happy with it.

It’s mostly rainproof, so that part does the job well. But, yeah, the bolts started getting rusty quicker than I expected, which was kind of disappointing.

The folding works fine once you get the hang of it, but it’s annoying that it takes practice in the first place. They could’ve made the design way more straightforward instead of making you figure it out.
